Front Retail Staff – Bakery & Café

Location: Carlton North, VIC

We are looking for a friendly, reliable and enthusiastic Front Retail Staff member to join our busy bakery & café team.

About the Role

You will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing excellent customer service and helping create a welcoming café experience.

Key responsibilities:

- Greet customers and provide friendly, professional service
- Take customer orders and process POS/cash payments
- Serve bakery products, cakes, pastries, sandwiches and beverages
- Prepare and serve coffee and other drinks when required
- Pack customer orders and takeaway products
- Maintain a clean, tidy and well-presented display area
- Restock products and assist with daily bakery/café operations
- Handle customer enquiries and provide product recommendations
- Follow food safety and hygiene standards
- Work efficiently during busy periods

About You

We are looking for someone who:





- Has excellent customer service and communication skills
- Is friendly, positive and well-presented
- Is reliable, punctual and hardworking
- Can work confidently in a busy environment
- Has good attention to detail
- Can work independently as well as part of a team
- Has previous bakery, café, retail or hospitality experience (preferred but not essential)

Barista experience is an advantage.
