Role Overview
We're looking for a Senior Full-Stack Developer with T echnical Project Leadership experience to join our core engineering team. You'll work across systems that span Go backends , PostgreSQL databases , Vue.js frontends , and distributed compute infrastructure running on AWS and Linux-based systems . Your work will directly power warehouse automation, real-time messaging, and operational visibility at scale.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build and deploy backend services ( Go, PostgreSQL ) and user interfaces ( Vue.js
) that power real-time warehouse orchestration
- Develop and integrate AI-driven orchestration and ML optimisation capabilities to improve warehouse throughput and efficiency
- Build and improve API integrations
between our platform and automation technologies, including AMRs/AGVs, 4-way shuttles, robotics, PLCs and IoT devices
- Travel across ANZ, Asia and MENA to support commissioning, go-live and post-go-live activities
- Provide escalated technical support for production issues, diagnosing root causes and delivering software fixes , including onsite where required
Requirements
- 5+ years experience in software development with solid full-stack exposure
- Advanced proficiency in Go and practical experience with PostgreSQL
- Solid knowledge of distributed systems , microservices, and event-based architectures
- Proficient in Vue.js (or similar JS frameworks), REST APIs
- Deep understanding of AWS services (EC2, S3, IAM, VPC, ECS, etc.), Azure or Google Cloud equivalents
- Strong Linux systems knowledge and networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, VPNs)
- Proven ability to produce clear technical documentation, including process flows, network topology and interface diagrams, and API specifications (e.g. OpenAPI)
- Version control (Git), containerisation (Podman/Docker), and CI/CD experience
- Clear communicator with a collaborative mindset
- Valid passport and willingness to travel regionally for onsite testing, commissioning and go-live support
Nice to Have
- Experience with NATS , MQTT , or similar message brokers
- Background in industrial automation , WMS, or warehouse control systems
- Experience applying AI or machine learning techniques to orchestration, scheduling or optimisation problems
- Exposure to PLC/SCADA platforms (Siemens TIA Portal, Rockwell Studio 5000 or equivalent) or working closely with controls engineers
- Exposure to infrastructure-as-code and observability tooling (eg. Terraform , Prometheus , Grafana)
- Security-first development practices
- Familiarity with industrial networking protocols (e.g. PROFINET, EtherNet/IP, Modbus TCP)
- Exposure to autonomous mobile robot (AMR) platforms and APIs (e.g. Geek+, HAI Robotics, Hikrobot, Quicktron)
