Role Description This full-time Functional Salesforce Consultant (Techno-Functional) role is based in Melbourne, Sydney or Brisbane in a hybrid model, combining on-site collaboration with flexible work-from-home arrangements. The consultant will work closely with clients to gather and analyse business requirements, translate them into scalable Salesforce solutions, and configure and customize Salesforce.com to meet functional needs.
Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting workshops, designing process flows, preparing solution documentation, coordinating with technical teams on development work, and performing system testing and user training. The role also involves ongoing support, troubleshooting,
and optimisation of Salesforce implementations to ensure adoption and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Strong Analytical Skills and Business Analysis capabilities to understand requirements, processes, and data flows.
- 3+ years hands-on Salesforce.com Administration experience, including configuration, security, and user management.
- Salesforce.com Development exposure (e.g., declarative tools, Apex, Lightning components) to work effectively in a techno-functional capacity.
- Consulting skills, including stakeholder management, workshop facilitation, and clear communication with technical and non-technical audiences.
- Relevant certifications such as Salesforce Administrator, Platform App Builder, or Consultant credentials are highly beneficial.
- Experience in end-to-end Salesforce implementations, including testing, deployment, and post-go-live support.
- Ability to work in a hybrid setting, manage priorities independently, and collaborate within cross-functional teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business, Computer Science, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
