Recruitment 101 is seeking an experienced Upholsterer on behalf of our client, a boutique furniture company based in Hobart.

This is a great prospect for a skilled upholsterer to join a quality-focused team working across the manufacture, repair and restoration of furniture.

Key responsibilities

- Measuring, cutting and preparing upholstery materials;
- Fitting foam, padding, webbing and other support materials;
- Cutting, sewing and fitting fabric and leather coverings;
- Upholstering and re-upholstering furniture;
- Repairing and replacing worn or damaged upholstery; and
- Ensuring finished work meets quality standards.

About You The successful applicant will have:
- Previous experience in furniture upholstery;
- Relevant trade qualifications or equivalent experience;
- Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship;
- Experience working with a range of upholstery materials; and
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
