Bizmatrix Education is a specialist registered training organisation providing practical education in gas and electrical trades. Based in Brendale, we offer Type A domestic and commercial gas training, Type B industrial gas training, Certificate III in Gas Fitting, gas servicing, restricted electrical training and other specialist courses. Our approach combines online learning with hands-on practice and assessment, helping students build the knowledge, confidence and safe work habits they need on the job.

We are looking for an experienced gas professional to join our training team. You may already be a qualified trainer and assessor, or you may be an outstanding industry specialist who is ready to move into training. Either way, you will bring current technical knowledge, practical judgement and an ability to explain your work clearly to others.

Key responsibilities

- Deliver or support practical Type A and Type B gas training at our Brendale training centre.
- Demonstrate safe work practices and help students apply technical knowledge to real equipment and workplace situations.
- Coach learners with different levels of experience and provide clear, constructive feedback.
- Prepare training equipment and resources,



contribute to course improvements and maintain accurate training records.
- Conduct assessments when appropriately qualified.
- For a suitably qualified candidate, there is also an opportunity to deliver restricted electrical training.

What we’re looking for

- Solid, current hands-on experience across Type A and Type B gas work.
- Relevant gas qualifications, licences or authorisations.
- A sound understanding of safe work practices and the ability to troubleshoot and explain technical issues.
- Good communication skills, patience, reliability and a genuine interest in helping others learn.
- If you are new to training, willingness to work toward the required training and assessment credentials.

A recognised training and assessment credential and previous RTO experience would be an advantage, but we will also consider an excellent industry candidate who does not yet hold them. Experience with online learning or developing training resources is welcome. A current Restricted Electrical Licence would be highly regarded but is not essential for the gas training role. Training and assessment duties will reflect the credentials the successful applicant holds.
