Accounts Bridge Chartered Accountants is looking for an experienced Accountant (General) to join our team in Campbellfield. We work with Australian clients across accounting, taxation, bookkeeping and financial reporting.
Key responsibilities
· Prepare financial statements and accounting reports.
· Prepare and review balance sheets and profit and loss statements.
· Perform bank and account reconciliations.
· Maintain accounts payable and accounts receivable records.
· Process payroll and maintain payroll records.
· Maintain accurate accounting and financial records.
· Assist with bookkeeping and accounting compliance activities.
· Review financial information and investigate discrepancies.
· Assist clients with accounting-related queries.
· Work with Xero, QuickBooks, and other accounting systems.
What we're looking for
· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related discipline.
· Relevant accounting experience.
· Practical experience in financial reporting and reconciliations.
· Experience with accounts payable and accounts receivable.
· Payroll processing experience.
· Experience with Xero and/or QuickBooks.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
· Excellent attention to detail.
· Good communication and organisational skills.
· Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
