Internal Expression of Interest – General Manager Digital and Technology

Dementia Australia is inviting internal expressions of interest for the newly titled General Manager Digital and Technology (formerly CIO) role.

Reporting to the Chief Finance Officer, this is Dementia Australia’s senior technology leadership role, responsible for shaping and delivering our technology and digital direction. The role provides trusted advice to the Executive Team and Board and leads technology strategy and operations, cyber resilience, data platforms, digital improvement and the responsible use of artificial intelligence.

Key priorities include establishing a clear enterprise technology roadmap, strengthening cyber resilience and service reliability, clarifying ownership of data and systems, improving investment and supplier discipline, and ensuring digital change delivers measurable value for clients, employees, volunteers and the organisation.

We are looking for a contemporary,



collaborative leader who can connect strategy with practical delivery, simplify complexity and lead change with people. The successful candidate will bring broad technology leadership experience, sound commercial and risk judgement, and a solid focus on building trust, capability, ownership and sustainable ways of working.

This role will suit a leader who understands that technology is an enabler, not the outcome, and who can turn investment into better experiences and measurable organisational value.
