The Opportunity The General Manager – Treasury &
- Corporate is a senior Group Finance role providing central oversight of JLG's legal entity framework, banking, treasury arrangements, equity structures, and Non-Controlling Interests (NCIs). Working closely with Group Finance, Legal, Tax, and Corporate Development, you will ensure our financial structures remain efficient, well-controlled, and ready for continued global expansion.
Key Responsibilities
- Treasury &
- Banking:
Own the Group treasury framework, HSBC banking relationships, liquidity, debt facilities, compliance, and Group Capex. Drive process automation (cash sweeping, bank recs).
- Corporate Structuring: Maintain the Group legal entity framework. Lead entity rationalization, restructures, and new entity setups in collaboration with Legal, Tax, and Finance.
- Equity &
- Partner Management:
Manage partner equity transactions (issuances, buybacks, exits), Tracker Share arrangements, and partner distributions. Act as the central Finance contact for business partners and shareholders.
- Dividends &
- Valuations:
Own the Group Dividend Model and assess dividend capacity. Coordinate business/equity valuations and maintain agreed valuation models.
- Governance &
- Compliance:
Maintain the Corporate Structure &
- Treasury Master Register. Ensure robust governance for intercompany arrangements and manage QBCC compliance
Immediate Priorities
- HSBC Transition: Support the Group’s transition to HSBC and establish the new banking framework.
- Equity &
- Registers:
Implement Tracker Share arrangements and centralise the Treasury Master Register.
- Process Optimisation: Automate bank reconciliations, treasury processes, and cash sweeping while continuing legal entity rationalisation.
About You
- Qualifications: CA, CPA, or equivalent professional qualification.
- Technical Expertise: Strong background in complex corporate structures, banking, treasury, cash flow forecasting, and equity arrangements.
- Stakeholder Skills: Proven ability to partner with shareholders, senior executives, and cross-functional teams (Finance, Legal, Tax, Corporate Development).
- Attributes: Commercially minded, pragmatic, and highly detail oriented.
Success in the Role
Success will be demonstrated through a simple, accurate and well-controlled corporate and treasury setting that provides JLG leadership with clear visibility over the Group's entities, cash, banking, equity, partner interests and distributions — while providing the scalable foundations required to support JLG's continued growth.
