Healthcare Australia (HCA) is seeking an experienced General Practitioner to join our team delivering essential healthcare services within an immigration detention centre in Northam, Western Australia .

This is an opportunity to provide comprehensive primary healthcare to a diverse patient population while working alongside a multidisciplinary team supporting complex medical, mental health and wellbeing needs.

About the role You'll provide high-quality primary healthcare, manage acute and chronic conditions, support patients with mental health and substance use concerns, and provide clinical guidance to onsite healthcare staff.





You'll also contribute to preventative health, chronic disease management, immunisations and trauma-informed, person-centred care.

About you To be considered, you will have:

- An MBBS or equivalent medical degree and current, unrestricted registration with the Medical Board of Australia.
- Relevant GP Fellowship or other qualifications and experience accepted for the position.
- Experience managing complex medical and mental health presentations.
- A commitment to safe, ethical and patient-centred care.
- Opioid substitution treatment prescribing authorisation, or willingness to obtain it.
