T-Ports operates two vessels, MV Lucky Eyre and MV April, in Lucky Bay on the Eyre Peninsula and Wallaroo on the Yorke Peninsula, South Australia. About the role

Reporting to the Chief Officer the GPH is responsible for assisting in the daily operation and maintenance of the Vessel.

- Operate the Material Handling System (MHS)
- Casual Position
- Perform planned maintenance duties using Maintenance systems (PMS) (MEX)
- Comply with Work, Health, and Safety procedures
- Perform all tasks instructed by the Chief Officer and Master
- Prepare and clean Vessel for Grain Inspection and periodical inspections




- General deck hand duties

About You This is a diverse role that will require an all-rounder, with “a can-do attitude”, who is prepared to take on a vast selection of duties. Ranging from Preventative Maintenance to routine inspections. Excellent verbal and written skills will be required. Previous deck hand experience will be required.
- Master less than 24m OR Master less than 35m- Essential
- Certificate of Safety Training- Essential
- Valid AMSA Certificate of Medical Fitness - Essential
- Must have Australian work rights - Essential
- Previous experience in a similar Agri-business or bulk handling plant- Advantageous
