- Reports directly to the Transport Spatial System Manager
- Manages, coordinates and analyses the GIS databases to contribute to better transport outcomes
You will be undertaking these responsibilities:
- Ensuring transparent and insightful reporting by maintaining quality documentation of analysis, methodology and findings
- Creating, analysing, and presenting spatial data
- Automating project workflows and data integrations
- Providing GIS SME, GIS development, and GIS data modelling input to stakeholders and projects
- Providing innovatory spatial solutions to projects
Essential technical skills:
- ArcGIS or other GIS, ETL (such as FME) software, BI tools (Tableau, SAP Business Objects)
- API’s
- SQL
- ArcGIS suite of products: ArcGIS - Pro, - Online, -Apps, -ArcCatalog, -ArcSDE,
mobile GIS solutions and ArcGIS Server
- Java Script
- Python
To be eligible for this role, you must have:
- Tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline
- Capacity to operate both independently and as a team member
- Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality, discretion, and judgement while maintaining a strong customer service approach
- Experience in sourcing, capturing and maintaining datasets
