At Cognitio Digital, we're helping a number of Australian government and Defence clients design, build and operate next-generation sovereign cloud environments.

We're looking for an experienced Google Cloud Architect with an active NV1 (or higher) security clearance to join our growing Cloud, Cyber and Digital Engineering team.

You'll play a key role in designing, governing and operating secure Cloud environments supporting Defence and Federal Government outcomes. Working alongside our cloud engineers, security specialists, architects and client stakeholders, you'll help solve complex challenges, influence platform direction and contribute to some of Australia's most significant cloud transformation initiatives.

Essential

- Active NV1 security clearance (or higher)
- Google Professional Cloud Architect certification
- Experience designing and operating enterprise-scale Google Cloud environments
- Strong understanding of cloud governance, architecture and operating models
- Experience with: Google Cloud IAM | Organisation Policies | Shared VPCs | Landing Zones | Cloud KMS | Logging and Monitoring
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills

Desirable

- Google or Azure Professional Cloud Security Engineer and / or Associate Cloud Engineer




- Defence or Federal Government experience
- Experience operating within secure or sovereign environments
- Knowledge of ISM, PSPF, Essential Eight and Zero Trust principles
- Managed services or cloud operations experience
