DESIGN + COMPUTATIONAL MODELLING + EMERGING TECHNOLOGY | MELBOURNE

We are working with a well-regarded Melbourne architectural practice seeking a design-focused Graduate Architect to join its growing studio.

This is an opportunity for a graduate passionate about architectural design, digital modelling, computational design and emerging technology, with a strong understanding of documentation and project delivery.

You will work closely with senior designers and leadership across various projects and stages, contributing to:

- Feasibility and Concept designs
- Advanced 3D modelling, particularly in Rhino
- Grasshopper and computational/parametric design workflows
- AI-assisted design, visualisation and emerging digital tools
- Digital fabrication, prototyping and 3D printing
- High-quality visualisation using Corona, V-Ray, D5 or similar
- Architectural presentation and visual communication using InDesign, Photoshop and Adobe Creative Suite

The studio is particularly interested in graduates who are curious and actively engage with AI, computational design, digital fabrication, and emerging technologies. Ideally,

you will have:
- Strong architectural design and conceptual thinking
- Advanced Rhino and 3D modelling skills
- Experience with Grasshopper and computational modelling
- Excellent Adobe Creative Suite skills
- Excellent visualisation skills
- An interest in AI, digital fabrication and emerging technologies
- Script and coding experience
- Strong communication, collaboration and presentation skills
- A proactive approach and willingness to experiment and learn

You do not need to be an expert in every technology. Curiosity, design thinking and a willingness to explore recent tools are highly valued. This is a chance to join a collaborative Melbourne studio where design quality, digital innovation and experimentation are central to the practice.

If you are a graduate who wants to go beyond traditional architectural workflows and explore how design, computation, AI and digital fabrication can shape the future of practice, we would love to hear from you.
