Temporary Graphic Designer opportunity | State Government

Your new company

Our client is looking for an experienced Graphic Designer to join their team on a 6-month short-term temporary contract with the possibility of extension.

Your new role

- Creates a wide range of print and digital communication materials, including publications, reports, graphics, and promotional content, ensuring alignment with organisational needs.
- Works closely with senior management and internal stakeholders to interpret briefs, provide design advice, and deliver effective communication solutions.
- Maintains and updates the organisation’s branding style guide, ensuring consistent and professional presentation across all materials.
- Designs templates and tools to support brand governance and streamline communication processes.
- Manages relationships with external printers and service providers, overseeing production quality, timelines, and cost-effectiveness.
- Proofreads and edits materials, ensuring content accuracy, brand compliance,



and adherence to government and organisational standards.
- Oversees outsourced design work, maintains digital archives and image libraries, and ensures design equipment and software are up to date.

What you'll need to succeed

- Previous experience working in a similar role.
- Proficient in using Adobe Creative Suite for both print and digital media.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders.
- Strong organisational and time management abilities.
