Your new role An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Grounds Maintenance Worker to join a professional team servicing a range of clients across the Southeast Queensland region.

This hands-on role is ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors, takes pride in presenting outdoor spaces to a high standard, and has experience in garden and landscape maintenance.

Key Responsibilities

Lawn mowing, edging, whipper snipping, and general turf maintenance

Garden bed maintenance, including weeding, mulching, planting, and watering

Following daily schedules across multiple locations

Hedge trimming, pruning, and shaping of shrubs and plants

Safe operation and maintenance of landscaping equipment and hand tools

Removal of green waste and site clean-up following maintenance activities

Application of basic fertiliser and pest control treatments as required

Communicating effectively with supervisors and team members

Adhering to workplace health and safety procedures at all times

Reporting equipment faults, hazards, or site maintenance issues promptly

What you'll need to succeed

Current manual driver's licence and access to reliable transport

Previous experience in grounds maintenance, landscaping, gardening, or turf management





Physically fit with the ability to undertake manual outdoor work across a variety of weather conditions

Demonstrated experience operating landscaping equipment, including mowers, brush cutters, hedge trimmers, and other powered garden tools

Experience operating Walker Mowers, Cylinder Mowers, or similar commercial mowing equipment will be highly regarded

Strong attention to detail and pride in delivering work to a consistently high standard

Reliable and dependable, with a positive attitude and strong work ethic

Ability to work autonomously as well as contribute effectively within a team environment

Willingness and ability to obtain a National Police Check and Working with Children Check

Strong commitment to workplace health and safety, with a proactive approach to safe work practices and procedures
