About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and commercially minded Group Kitchen Operations Manager to join the Oscars Group team and take a leading role across part of our NSW pub portfolio.

This is a hands-on, independent role with a high level of autonomy and the chance to influence the culinary direction, performance and development of multiple venues across the group.

Working closely with our Group Operations Managers, you will partner with venue Head Chefs and kitchen teams to drive consistency, food quality, operational standards and financial performance across the pub portfolio.

You’ll be visible in venues, working directly with kitchen teams, supporting key trading periods, providing training and development, and stepping in where required during major events and busy service periods.

This is an opportunity for a strong culinary leader who enjoys being close to the operation while also having the commercial mindset to influence menus, food costs, supplier relationships and the overall performance of a diverse pub kitchen portfolio.

The role will support part of the portfolio of established NSW pubs, and will involve regular travel across the venues including to the Wollongong region and the Central Coast, with some administrative time based at our Head Office in Brighton Le Sands.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide culinary leadership and operational support across the NSW pub portfolio
- Work closely with venue Head Chefs to maintain high standards of food quality, consistency and presentation
- Develop and implement culinary strategies that support the broader pub portfolio




- Support menu development and ensure menus are commercially viable and operationally effective
- Provide hands-on training, coaching and development to kitchen teams
- Support recruitment and development of culinary talent across the portfolio
- Work alongside venue teams during key trading periods, events and high-volume service periods
- Monitor food quality, kitchen standards, presentation and operational consistency across venues
- Work closely with the Procurement Manager on food costs, pricing and supplier relationships
- Identify opportunities to improve food margins, efficiency and overall kitchen performance
- Support venue Head Chefs with operational challenges and provide practical solutions
- Share best practice across venues and drive continuous improvement
- Work closely with the Group Operations Managers to support the overall performance of the pub portfolio

About You:

- Experienced Group Head Chef, Group Executive Chef, Culinary Operations Manager or similar senior culinary qualified
- Strong experience within pubs, hotels or multi-venue hospitality operations
- Proven ability to lead and develop kitchen teams across multiple venues
- Strong understanding of menu development, food costing, margins and kitchen performance
- Commercially minded with an understanding of how culinary decisions impact overall venue performance




- Confident working with senior stakeholders, venue leaders and Head Chefs
- Strong coaching and training skills with a genuine interest in developing people
- Highly organised and comfortable working independently across multiple venues
- Hands-on approach with the ability to step into kitchens and support teams when required
- Strong communication, leadership and relationship-building skills
- Flexible to travel across the NSW pub portfolio as required
