Guest Service Agent / Front Desk Receptionist – Riverside Hotel (South Brisbane)

Riverside Hotel is seeking a reliable and customer-focused Guest Service Agent to join our front office team. This role is suited to someone who enjoys working with guests, providing quality service, and supporting smooth daily hotel operations.

About the Role:

As a Guest Service Agent, you will be responsible for assisting guests throughout their stay, managing front desk operations, and ensuring a skilled and welcoming experience.

Key Responsibilities:

- Welcome guests and provide assistance throughout their stay
- Complete guest check-ins, check-outs, and reservations accurately
- Handle payments, EFTPOS transactions, and daily reporting
- Respond to guest enquiries and requests in a timely and professional manner
- Maintain accurate front desk records and support daily hotel operations
- Work collaboratively with other departments to deliver a consistent guest experience





What We’re Looking For:

- Previous experience in hotel reception, front office, or a similar customer service role
- Experience with hotel PMS systems (Hirum experience is advantageous)
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks
- A positive, reliable, and team-focused approach
- Availability to work across a 7-day roster, including mornings, afternoons, weekends, and public holidays
