HARVEST 27

Up to 50 positions available for general farm labour, thinning, picking, packing, and pruning of mixed crops across multiple sites in the Gayndah/Mundubbera area, Queensland.

Start dates will be staggered between December 2026 and March 2027 and work will extend for a period up to 6 – 9 months. Applicants must signify their commitment to work the full period. Applicants must be available to work 6 days per week for 8 to 10 hours per day.

The work is based in a rural location with no public transport and limited accommodation options. Workers are expected to be willing and able to undertake training as required. Workers must secure their own local accommodation and reliable transport as the work is spread across multiple sites.

Horticultural work is fast paced, hard work and involves a lot of heavy lifting including full picking bags up and down ladders and stacking full cartons of fruit onto pallets,



as such successful candidates will need to be robust and physically fit. Workers need to maintain production targets with a high degree of accuracy continually over long workdays in a variety of challenging weather conditions. A two week trial will apply.

Pay rates and conditions are as per the Horticulture Award 2020 (MA00028) Level 1 or Level 2 depending on industry experience as per award and will vary between piece rate and hourly rate depending on the task.
