LV/HD Field Service Mechanic - Perth Metro

Aston Advantage is currently recruiting for a Field Service Fitter to join a well-established civil and materials business servicing equipment across the Perth metropolitan area.

About the role

- Field-based mechanical role servicing equipment across the Perth metro area
- Carry out breakdown repairs, servicing and preventative maintenance
- Work across dewatering pumps, generators and plate compactors
- Repair and maintain civil and earthmoving equipment
- Diagnose faults and complete repairs independently in the field
- Manage your own daily workload, service calls and record keeping

What’s on offer

- Monday–Friday, 6am–4pm, with optional Saturday OT
- Up to $70/hr, depending on trade certificate and experience
- Weekly pay
- Fully equipped field service truck

What you'll need

- HD Mechanic or LV Mechanic trade qualification
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
- Experience working on small diesel-powered plant and equipment, particularly dewatering pumps, plate compactors and generators
- Previous field service experience highly regarded
- MR or HR driver's licenceessential
- Ability to work independently and manage your own workload
- Good knowledge of the Perth metropolitan area
