Enterprise Ai Group

Sydney

Enterprise AI is the platform consultants use to build enterprise AI systems for their clients, and to put them into production inside the client's own systems.

Who we work with

- Software vendors adding AI workflows into their own product, under their own brand.
- Specialist consultants delivering AI process-improvement solutions to their clients.
- Enterprises buying the platform directly to build and run their own AI workflows.

Where we are

- Our platform runs a NSW local government service in production, guiding applicants and assessing development applications. New councils go live in weeks, not quarters.
- A software vendor is taking the platform to its own customers through a white-label agreement.
- Consultants are already selling the platform to their enterprise clients. Most of our platform revenue comes through them.
- Behind us is ADAPTOVATE, a consulting group founded in 2017 by former BCG partners, with enterprise clients across Australia, Europe and North America.
- EnterpriseAI is a small team in Sydney, Manila and NEw York. This role grows it.

The problem you'd own

- A consultant builds a client app in Claude or ChatGPT over a weekend. On Monday the client's leadership loves it. Six weeks later it still isn't signed off, because the client's IT team asked three questions nobody could answer:
- Who can see this app, and the data in it?
- What happens when the business changes, or the AI model does?
- Who maintains it, and how do our people learn to?
- Our platform is the answer to those three questions.

It runs inside the client's own tenant behind their own logins, so the data never leaves. The workflow and the model can be changed without rebuilding the app or touching the systems underneath. The consultant who built it maintains it on the same platform, and the client's team learns it through our Academy.

- You would own the engineering that makes those three answers true every time, for every consultant and every client.

What's on the plate in the next six months

- We are launching to consultants in October. Each one builds an app for one of their own clients, and some of them will take it into production. That means:

- CLI installers that work on Mac, Windows and Linux, and a deploy path from Claude Code and Codex for consultants who build there.
- The no-code builder connected to AI services, document understanding and content extraction.
- Industry templates a consultant can clone, rebrand and send to a client in minutes.
- Stripe, subscription plans and the pricing behind them.
- Multi-tenant hierarchy, identity, audit logging, model-agnostic routing, evaluation and monitoring, hardened for enterprise and government procurement.
- The reliability work that lets a wave of current users hit the product in one month.
- You would set the order with the CTO, own the delivery, and ship it with the team.

The role

- Own engineering delivery and technical execution across the platform.
- Lead the engineers in Sydney and Manila, and hire the next wave as the company grows.
- Work with the CTO on architecture and technical direction, and with the Founder on product priorities.
- Stay hands-on: code review, technical design, debugging, production issues, and code where your involvement adds value.
- Set a high bar for quality, testing, CI/CD, reliability, security, observability and documentation, without adding process for its own sake.
- Keep technical debt and complexity under control while shipping at pace.
- Be accountable for the product getting built and shipped.

What we're looking for

- About 10 to 15 years of professional software engineering, with at least 3 years leading engineers.
- Deep backend experience in Python, and working knowledge of TypeScript.
- You have designed, built and operated multi-tenant cloud software in production. Azure preferred; AWS or GCP relevant.
- You have shipped an LLM-powered capability into production and know what it takes to make it reliable: evaluation,

guardrails, human-in-the-loop, observability.
- You have owned a significant architecture decision and can explain the trade-offs you made.
- You raise engineering standards through code review, not through documents.
- You can talk to a founder, a consultant and a government IT team in the same week.
- You are still an engineer at heart. You do not need to be an ML researcher.

Our stack

- Backend: Python and FastAPI. Frontend: TypeScript and Next.js.
- Cloud: Microsoft Azure, deployed into each client's own tenant.
- Data: MongoDB, with curated per-process context and write-back to the client's systems of record.
- Platform: multi-tenant hierarchy, identity and audit, workflow orchestration, model-agnostic routing, evaluation and monitoring, enterprise integrations, a CLI and the Configurator no-code builder.
- AI: LLM APIs from several providers, agents, RAG, document understanding.

Who you'd work with

- The CTO, who you report to, and who owns architecture and technical direction.
- Douglas Ross, Founder and Group CEO. Founded ADAPTOVATE after BCG, and EnterpriseAI in 2024.
- The Board, partners and investors
- The engineering team in Sydney and Manila, and the consultants who use the platform with clients every week.

Location and ways of working

- Sydney CBD, in the office five days a week. We are launching in October, the product changes daily, and the engineers, the CTO and the Founder make decisions in the same room on the same day. Manila works to Sydney hours.

Compensation

- Market salary and participation in the EnterpriseAI employee share option plan (ESOP).

How to apply

- Apply through LinkedIn or contact [email protected].

We are particularly interested in:
- What engineering teams you have led.
- What products or platforms you personally helped build.
- A significant architecture decision you owned.
- How hands - on you remained while leading.
- An AI/ML capability you helped take into production.

In the first conversation we will show you the platform running inside a council's tenant, and the launch plan for the next six months.
