Redpath Partners has been exclusively appointed to lead the search for a Director of Marketing & Sales for a significant, large-scale masterplanned destination in Queensland.

This is a rare senior leadership chance to shape the brand, placemaking, market positioning and project marketing strategy for a major multi-stage development incorporating residential, mixed-use and destination-led uses.

This is fundamentally a marketing-led appointment. We are seeking an accomplished senior development and project marketing leader , rather than a traditional sales executive. The successful candidate will bring significant experience shaping major property projects from early positioning and brand creation through to launch, customer strategy and ongoing project marketing.

The Opportunity

Working closely with the development leadership team, this executive will take ownership of the overarching marketing strategy for the precinct and play an influential role in shaping how the project is positioned, experienced and brought to market.

The remit will include

- Leading the brand, placemaking and destination positioning for the development.
- Developing and executing the overarching development and project marketing strategy across multiple stages.
- Leading customer segmentation, market positioning, product marketing and go-to-market strategy.
- Shaping the customer proposition and experience across residential and mixed-use components.
- Overseeing project launches, major campaigns, creative direction and external agency partners.




- Working closely with development and commercial teams to ensure marketing strategy informs project and product decisions.
- Providing appropriate oversight and governance across the sales function , without being required to personally lead day-to-day sales execution.
- Managing marketing investment, performance, reporting and senior stakeholder engagement within a sophisticated governance environment.

About You This appointment requires a senior marketer with deep property development experience .

You are likely to have held a senior role such as Senior or State Marketing Manager, Marketing Director, Head of Marketing, Development Marketing Director, Head of Project Marketing or Head of Marketing & Sales , with a career grounded in major development projects.

Essential to the brief is significant experience across residential development, masterplanned communities, mixed-use precincts or other large-scale property developments.

You will understand the full development lifecycle and have demonstrated experience in project marketing, placemaking, brand creation, positioning and launching major projects to market .

You will also bring the commercial maturity to operate alongside senior development executives and within a complex corporate governance environment. The original brief specifically calls for comparable masterplanned/mixed-use project experience and executive-level stakeholder and governance capability.

A pure sales background will not be sufficient for this appointment. Sales experience or exposure is advantageous; however, the priority is a sophisticated property marketer with substantial project and development expertise.
