ABOUT THE ROLE

Redpath is seeking experienced HD Fitters to join our underground mining maintenance teams on two major gold projects, Cowal and North Parkes.

In this role, you'll be responsible for the maintenance, diagnostics and repair of a modern fleet of Sandvik underground mining equipment, helping keep our operation safe, reliable and productive.

You'll work alongside a highly skilled maintenance team in a safety-focused environment, with exposure to a well-maintained fleet of modern underground equipment.

Our Fleet Includes

- Sandvik development drills
- Sandvik production drills
- Sandvik loaders (LHDs)
- Sandvik underground trucks
- Auxiliary underground support equipment

Key Responsibilities

- Diagnosing faults and carrying out breakdown repairs on Sandvik underground equipment
- Performing scheduled servicing, preventative maintenance and inspections
- Completing component change-outs and major repairs
- Troubleshooting hydraulic, electrical and mechanical systems
- Maintaining compliance with site safety procedures and standards




- Ensure all work is completed in accordance with site, OEM and Redpath standards
- Complete accurate maintenance records, reports and documentation
- Work collaboratively with the maintenance team to support protected and efficient operations
- Contribute to a positive culture of safety, quality and continuous improvement

ABOUT YOU We're looking for an experienced HD Fitters who take pride in their work and are committed to safe, high-quality maintenance.

You will require the following skills and qualifications:

You will possess

- Australian Trade Qualification in Mobile Plant, Diesel Fitting or Heavy Vehicle Mechanics
- Experience maintaining underground mining equipment
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
- Commitment to safe work practices
- Current Australian Driver's License
