The Chance

We have multiple full time Heavy Vehicle Diesel Mechanic positions available across Victoria, with opportunities based at our Bendigo and Benalla locations.

These roles provide a genuine opportunity to join our maintenance teams and work across a diverse range of heavy vehicles, plant and road construction equipment.

The successful applicants should possess the following attributes:

- Suitably trade qualified with experience in diesel engines.

- Experience in light and heavy vehicles essential.

- Experience with heavy vehicles, trucks and road construction equipment highly desirable.

- Ability to schedule and organise parts,



execute planned maintenance, and manage and carry out emergency repairs.

- Ability to demonstrate safe work practices.

- Maintaining workshops and equipment to a high standard.

- Liaise effectively with other staff members and suppliers.

- Work well in a team, show initiative and take responsibility.

- Accurate electronic record keeping.

- Ability to travel and stay away with crews when required.

- Experience with hydraulics and auto electrical systems highly regarded.

- Welding experience highly regarded.

- Ability to work flexible hours to meet operational requirements, including some weekend work.

Depending on the position, company vehicles, mobile phones and other tools and equipment may be provided.
