Level 1 IT Support Technician | Zarbtech

Love solving problems and helping people? We’re looking for a friendly, enthusiastic Level 1 IT Support Technician with a few years of hands-on support experience to join Zarbtech.

You’ll bring strong customer service skills, a positive attitude and a genuine curiosity about technology. You enjoy learning, take pride in your work and can make technical problems feel less daunting for the person on the other end of the phone.

What you’ll do

- Provide first-line IT support via phone, email and remote support tools.
- Troubleshoot everyday hardware, software and connectivity issues.
- Set up and configure laptops, desktops and peripherals.
- Keep clear records of support requests, troubleshooting steps and resolutions.
- Keep customers informed and follow through on their requests.
- Recognise when an issue needs escalation and work with the team to resolve it.

- What you’ll bring





- A few years of experience in a Level 1 IT support or service desk role.
- Excellent customer service and clear communication skills.
- A practical, methodical approach to troubleshooting.
- Initiative, enthusiasm and a willingness to ask questions and learn.
- The ability to manage competing requests while staying organised.
- A reliable, collaborative approach and a solid sense of ownership.

- Bonus points for

- Hands-on experience diagnosing and repairing laptops, including replacing components.
- Experience supporting customers across different industries or business environments.
- Relevant IT qualifications, certifications or ongoing study.

You don’t need to know everything. We’re looking for someone with a solid foundation, a helpful attitude and the drive to keep developing their skills.
