About the role

We are seeking an experienced Home Care Business Manager to join our Brisbane office on a full-time basis. This is a strategic management position that plays a crucial role in overseeing the operational and commercial success of our home care business unit. You will be responsible for driving business growth, managing resources efficiently, ensuring service quality, and delivering strong financial performance.

This role offers the opportunity to lead a dynamic team and shape the future direction of our home care services, making a tangible impact on the lives of our clients whilst contributing to the broader objectives of Mike Billion Property Pty Ltd.

Key responsibilities

- Developing and implementing business strategies to achieve revenue targets, market expansion goals, and profitability objectives for the home care business unit

- Overseeing daily operational management, including staffing, scheduling, rostering, and resource allocation to ensure service delivery excellence

- Leading, motivating, and developing a team of care professionals and support staff, fostering a culture of high performance and employee engagement

- Ensuring compliance with all relevant home care regulations, accreditation standards, and quality assurance requirements

- Managing financial performance, including budgeting, cost control, revenue management, and delivering profitability within agreed parameters

- Developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients, referral partners,



and key stakeholders to drive business growth and enhance market presence

- Monitoring service quality, client satisfaction, and care standards, implementing continuous improvement initiatives where necessary

- Analysing business metrics and key performance indicators, producing reports and insights to inform strategic decision-making

- Collaborating with senior management and other business units to align home care operations with corporate objectives

- Managing contracts, vendor relationships, and procurement to optimise operational efficiency and cost-effectiveness

What we're looking for

- Proven experience in a senior management or business manager role, ideally within the home care, aged care, disability services, or healthcare sector

- Strong understanding of the home care industry, including regulatory frameworks, accreditation requirements, and best practice service delivery models

- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute business strategies that drive growth, improve profitability, and enhance market competitiveness

- Excellent financial acumen, with experience in budgeting, financial forecasting, and profit and loss management

- Leadership experience with the ability to recruit, manage, and develop high-performing teams in a care workplace

- Strong operational management skills, including process improvement, quality assurance, and performance management

- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships across diverse audiences

- Problem-solving capability and strategic thinking, with the ability to navigate complex business challenges

- Knowledge of relevant compliance, regulatory, and accreditation standards in the home care sector

- Qualification in business management, health services management, or a related discipline is highly desirable

- Current driver's licence and willingness to travel locally as required
