We are seeking an experienced Hosting Specialist to join a high-performing technology team responsible for managing and enhancing enterprise hosting infrastructure across on-premises and cloud environments.

About the Role

As a Hosting Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, security, performance, and availability of enterprise hosting platforms, including servers, storage, backup solutions, and cloud services. You will play a key role in infrastructure modernisation initiatives and support critical business operations through effective infrastructure management and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage and maintain enterprise hosting platforms across on-premises and cloud environments.
- Design, implement, and support scalable, secure, and high-performing infrastructure solutions.
- Ensure platform resilience, disaster recovery, backup, and business continuity capabilities.
- Monitor infrastructure capacity and performance and recommend improvements.
- Support incident, problem, change, and release management processes.
- Maintain accurate technical documentation, configuration records, and operational procedures.
- Collaborate with project teams to deliver infrastructure upgrades, migrations, and transformation initiatives.
- Manage vendor relationships and service delivery outcomes.
- Contribute to infrastructure strategy, roadmap planning, and lifecycle management.




- Promote operational excellence, automation, and continuous improvement.

Required Skills & Experience

- Experience in infrastructure, hosting, or systems engineering roles.
- Strong experience managing Windows and/or Linux (RHEL) server environments.
- Experience supporting both on-premises and cloud-based workloads.
- Solid knowledge of server, storage, backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity solutions.
- Understanding of infrastructure monitoring, performance tuning, and capacity planning.
- Experience working within ITIL-based service management environments.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.

Highly Desirable

- Microsoft Azure and/or VMware certifications.
- Experience with containers, automation, and up-to-date infrastructure technologies.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices and infrastructure governance.
- Exposure to enterprise infrastructure transformation or cloud migration initiatives.
