Hospitality Teacher

Marist College Ashgrove, located in Brisbane's inner Northern suburbs, is a distinguished Catholic day and boarding school for boys in Years 5-12. The College is seeking a suitably qualified and committed Hospitality Teacher, who has a passion for teaching and working as part of an energetic team committed to excellence in the classroom. This is an ongoing position and has the ability to be negotiated as a full-time or part-time position.

Essential Selection Criteria

1. Qualifications supporting, Certificate II in Hospitality or higher and experience in, teaching Hospitality and Vet subjects

2. TAE40116 Certificate IV Training and Assessment
1. Awareness and understanding of boys’ education theories and strategies

3. Substantial knowledge and experience of curriculum initiatives and development in education
1. High degree of discretion, initiative and personal organisation in the execution of

responsibilities and duties
1. Flexibility and resourcefulness in working with a variety of staff members
2. Ability to work collaboratively with teams to enhance the College’s identity as a Catholic School in the Marist tradition
