HR/HC/MC TRUCK DRIVER – FULL TIME

Focus Demolition & Asbestos Removal Pty Ltd provides complete demolition, asbestos removal, salvage and recycling services across a range of commercial, industrial and infrastructure projects throughout Western Australia.

Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced HR/HC/MC Truck Driver for a permanent full-time position supporting our ongoing projects throughout the Perth metropolitan area and regional Western Australia.

The Role

You will operate late-model, well-maintained heavy vehicles and undertake a variety of transport and haulage work associated with our demolition and recycling operations.

Duties will include

- Operating tipper trucks and trailers throughout the Perth metropolitan area
- Transporting demolition and construction waste to licensed disposal and recycling facilities
- Transporting waste bins to and from demolition and construction sites
- Undertaking bulk haulage of demolition and recyclable materials
- Operating road train combinations with scrap trailers for regional work, where appropriately licensed
- Float work transporting heavy plant and equipment between metropolitan and regional project sites, where appropriately licensed and experienced
- Loading, securing and unloading loads in accordance with relevant requirements
- Carrying out daily vehicle inspections and pre-start checks
- Completing required transport and site documentation
- Complying with Chain of Responsibility, fatigue management, load restraint and road transport requirements
- Working safely within demolition, construction and recycling environments
- Travelling to regional and remote Western Australian project locations as required





What We're Looking For

Applicants must have

- Demonstrated experience operating heavy vehicles
- Current HR, HC or MC driver's licence
- Current Construction White Card
- Experience in heavy vehicle transport and/or bulk haulage
- Good understanding of safe load restraint and heavy vehicle operations
- Strong commitment to workplace health and safety
- Physical fitness and ability to work within construction and site-based environments
- Willingness to travel and work throughout regional and remote Western Australia when required
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable, flexible and safety-focused approach to work

Experience in tipper operations, bulk haulage, road trains, float work, demolition, construction or waste transport will be highly regarded. MC training may be provided to the right candidate.

- 40 hours per week, plus overtime
- Salary: $82,000 to $85,000 + superannuation
- Overtime paid at applicable rates, including time-and-a-half and double-time
