Are you ready to take the next step in your career? If you are passionate about systems, processes and people - and bring a practical problem-solving mindset, a sharp eye for detail and the drive to make a real impact - this could be the opportunity for you.

E.L. Blue is seeking an experienced HR Systems Coordinator to help keep critical HR, workforce management and payroll systems running accurately and efficiently for an cutting-edge not-for-profit client in the aged care sector.

About E.L. Blue

E.L. Blue stands at the forefront of Human Resources outsourcing in Australia, serving clients across diverse industries, including manufacturing, construction, biotech, and services. We're not just a company; we're a community of forward-thinkers shaping the future of HR.

The opportunity

Reporting to the HR Systems Lead, you will play a key role in the administration, implementation and continuous improvement of HR systems across multiple sites. You will collaborate with HR, Payroll, IT, site administrators and external partners to improve processes and support the successful automation of HR functions.

This is a hands-on systems and project role for someone who can work independently, take ownership of tasks from start to finish and produce accurate, complete work. You will need the confidence to investigate issues, think beyond the obvious solution, identify root causes and escalate risks before they affect employees, payroll or project delivery.

Your Responsibilities

- Maintain, monitor and assist with the implementation of HR systems, including time and attendance and payroll platforms.
- Manage assigned systems and project tasks from initial clarification through to checking, completion, handover and close-out.
- Liaise with our in-house consultant and third-party vendors on system configuration, exports, enhancements and troubleshooting.
- Help ensure system rules and configurations accurately reflect award conditions, policies, approved business requirements and supporting documentation.
- Prepare, validate and reconcile employee, payroll, award, qualification and configuration data before upload or submission.
- Support rollout plans, user acceptance testing, parallel payroll testing, communications, and change management.
- Record test results and evidence,

identify discrepancies, and log and escalate issues promptly.
- Develop and maintain process guides, checklists, action trackers and training materials for internal users.
- Maintain HR data integrity and support the accurate, compliant operation of onboarding, award application, reporting and other key processes.
- Investigate system, process and data issues, identify root causes and recommend practical improvements that reduce risk and avoidable rework.

What success looks like

- You work independently and take responsibility for delivering accurate, complete and traceable work by the agreed deadline.
- You check your work thoroughly against instructions, approved source data, system values and previous completed examples before submission.
- You recognise when something does not look right, investigate it and raise the issue before it progresses further.
- You manage competing priorities using clear plans, trackers and checkpoints rather than relying on memory.
- You apply feedback to the next comparable task and actively improve the way you work.
- You build constructive relationships while confidently maintaining agreed processes, controls and standards.

Experience and Skills The following qualifications and capabilities are essential:

- A tertiary qualification in Human Resource Management or a related discipline, together with three to five years' experience in an HR Systems Coordinator or similar role.
- Strong administrative or coordination experience in HR, payroll, workforce management, systems support or another data-focused environment.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills are essential, including pivot tables, lookup formulas, filters, data validation and reconciliations. You must be confident working with large and detailed datasets.
- Exceptional attention to detail, sound organisation and a consistent habit of checking your own work before it is submitted or actioned.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think outside the box, test assumptions and identify the underlying cause of an issue.
- The ability to work autonomously, prioritise competing demands and follow tasks through to completion with minimal supervision.
- Confidence in navigating complex digital systems and learning new platforms and processes quickly.
- Effective written and verbal communication and stakeholder engagement skills, including the confidence to ask specific questions and escalate risks early.
- Sound judgement, discretion and the ability to handle sensitive employee and payroll information appropriately.
- A solutions-focused approach, a willingness to learn and a constructive can-do attitude.
- Proficiency across Microsoft 365, including Outlook, Teams and SharePoint.

Highly regarded

- Experience with Humanforce or another workforce management or payroll platform.
- Experience supporting UAT, parallel payroll, system implementations, integrations or data migration.
- Exposure to award or enterprise agreement interpretation and payroll configuration.
- Experience working in aged care, health care or another multi-site environment.
