Your new company Our client is a well-established organisation within the manufacturing and industrial sector, supporting a range of industries. They are seeking an experienced HSE Advisor to join their team and provide leadership across a key operational project.
Your new role
Reporting into site leadership, you will act as the primary HSE resource, ensuring health, safety and environmental requirements are effectively managed across the site. This is a visible, hands-on role combining compliance activities with regular engagement on the manufacturing floor.
Key responsibilities include
- Providing HSE leadership, advice and coaching across the site
- Managing contractor safety processes, permits and compliance requirements
- Supporting environmental compliance, reporting and EPA obligations
- Maintaining ISO accreditations, audits and management systems
- Delivering HSE training and promoting a positive safety culture
- Conducting incident investigations and reporting
- Monitoring HSE metrics and ensuring ongoing compliance
- Developing, reviewing and implementing policies,
procedures and risk controls
What you'll need to succeed To be successful in this role, you will bring:
- Previous experience within a HSE role in manufacturing, industrial or operational environments
- Strong knowledge of ISO standards, audits and compliance frameworks
- Experience managing contractors and high-risk work activities
- Exposure to environmental compliance and regulatory requirements
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- A practical, hands-on approach with the ability to work autonomously
- A high level of accountability and willingness to take ownership of outcomes
