- Coach and support leaders through people management and performance matters.
- Provide advice and support to employees throughout their employment.
- Manage employee relations matters including performance, grievances, misconduct and investigations, engaging external advisors where required.

Performance, Development & Culture

- Support managers with induction, training and employee development.
- Coordinate learning and development initiatives and mandatory training.
- Lead and support our performance review and development processes.
- Support performance improvement and employee development plans.
- Help drive initiatives that support engagement, retention and a positive workplace culture.

Recruitment & HR Operations

- Manage recruitment across the business, including position descriptions, interviews, background checks, offers and employment contracts.
- Ensure our onboarding processes and employee documentation remain up to date.
- Review and maintain HR policies and procedures.
- Ensure employment terms and conditions remain compliant with relevant legislation.
- Manage workers’ compensation and return-to-work matters where required.
- Maintain accurate employee records and general HR administration.

DOES THIS SOUND LIKE YOU?

You’ll bring:

- 5+ years’ HR experience, ideally within a broad generalist or standalone HR role.
- A relevant Human Resource Management qualification or equivalent.
- Robust knowledge of Australian employment legislation and contemporary HR practices.
- Solid employee relations and performance management experience.
- Confidence coaching and supporting managers through a range of people matters.
- Experience across recruitment, performance, policies, remuneration and HR operations.
- Strong communication, relationship-building and influencing skills.
- High levels of integrity, discretion and sound judgement.
- A practical, solutions-focused approach and the ability to work autonomously.
- Strong organisation and the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Experience within fashion, apparel, retail or a similar environment would be an advantage.
