Implementations rarely fail at go-live. They fail in discovery, when nobody asked how the pricing team actually builds a quote.

You’ll start on our rate management and quoting products. As you grow into the role, you’ll lead implementations across the rest of the suite.

What you’ll do

- Lead customer implementations from kickoff to go-live, supported by our Product and Engineering teams.
- Be the customer’s primary point of contact, keeping both teams aligned on timeline, scope, and risk.
- Run discovery on how each customer prices: rate structures, margin and markup rules, approval rules, and quote templates.
- Build the initial configuration on proven practice, then hand ownership to the customer’s own team.
- Map customer rate data and pricing logic into the platform, and coordinate integrations with customer IT and our Engineering team.
- Run user acceptance testing on real lanes and historical quotes. If a rate is wrong, you find it before the customer does.
- Train pricing, sales,



and operations users to run the tools themselves.
- Hand customers to Support with complete documentation and no loose ends.
- Feed what you learn back to Product and into our implementation playbook, so each project runs faster than the last.

What you need

- 5+ years leading software implementations, ideally in logistics or freight.
- Working knowledge of freight forwarding: lanes, carrier contracts, rate structures, surcharges, Incoterms, and how a quote actually gets built.
- A robust head for data and logic. You can take a messy rate sheet or a pricing rule nobody wrote down and turn it into something a system can run.
- Real project discipline. You run a plan, a RAID log, and a status call people actually attend, across several customers at once.
- The ability to explain the same issue to a pricing manager, a CFO, and a developer in one afternoon.

Nice to have

- Hands-on CargoWise experience.
- Experience working with LLMs or AI tools.
- Exposure to document automation, booking, or integrations beyond rates and quoting.
