Adam's Tech Help is a small growing local business providing friendly, reliable in-home technology support across Hobart.

We help everyday people with computers, phones, tablets, Wi-Fi, printers, Smart TVs and other technology issues. Our focus is on making technology easier for people, with patient, practical support and excellent customer service.

About the Role

We're looking for a friendly, capable and reliable IT Support Technician to join our team on a casual basis.

You'll visit customers in their homes, troubleshoot technology problems, set up devices and help people feel more confident using their technology.

This is an independent, customer-facing role, so you'll need to be comfortable working on your own and communicating clearly with people of all ages and technical abilities.

What You'll Be Doing

- Troubleshooting computers and common software issues
- Diagnosing Wi-Fi and home internet connection problems
- Setting up printers, email accounts and new devices
- Helping customers with smartphones, tablets and Smart TVs




- Assisting with general technology questions and providing practical solutions
- Keeping customers informed and providing a friendly, professional service

What We're Looking For

- Robust practical knowledge of everyday consumer technology
- Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills and a patient, friendly approach
- Ability to work independently in customers' homes
- Reliability, professionalism and attention to detail
- Current driver's licence and reliable transport

Previous IT support experience is highly regarded, but formal qualifications aren't essential if you have the right practical skills and attitude.
