We're inviting independent driving instructors throughout New South Wales to join our growing network.

Whether you're newly qualified and starting your own business or already an established instructor with room for more learners, First Pass offers another way for learners to discover and book your services.

Earnings and payment

Instructors receive 80% of the lesson price for bookings through First Pass, with a 20% platform commission.

For example, on a completed $75 one-hour driving lesson, the instructor receives $60 before business expenses. Actual earnings vary according to lesson prices and completed bookings.

There are no guaranteed bookings, fixed working hours or minimum earnings.



You remain in control of your own availability and business.

Who we're looking for

We welcome independent driving instructors of all genders across metropolitan and regional NSW, teaching automatic, manual or both.

We're particularly interested in newly established instructors and independent owner-operators who have availability for additional learners.

Requirements

- Current and valid NSW Driving Instructor Licence.
- Current full (unrestricted) driver's licence, appropriate for the vehicle class you teach (Class C for cars).
- Valid NSW Working with Children Check (WWCC).
- Your own suitable, appropriately insured training vehicle with required dual controls.
- Operate independently, rather than as part of a large driving school or franchise.
- Have availability to accept additional learner bookings.
- Be professional, reliable and committed to providing secure, quality driving instruction.

Locations

All New South Wales – Metropolitan and Regional NSW

Instructors choose their own service areas. You do not need to be based in Sydney or travel outside your selected locations.
