As Sharon AI continues to grow, we’re looking for a talented Infrastructure Architect to join our Infrastructure Architecture team and shape the end-to-end architecture behind large-scale GPU clusters and AI cloud services.

The Role In terms of this particular prospect, the Infrastructure Architect will develop and integrate scalable infrastructure architectures spanning compute, networking, storage, platform software and data centre facilities.

You’ll work closely with AI, HPC, Network, Storage and Platform Architects, engineering teams, OEMs and NVIDIA ecosystem partners, with exposure to large-scale GPU infrastructure and high-performance AI environments.

The role reports to the VP of Infrastructure and collaborates with specialists across the business.

The position offers a Australia-wide, with Sydney preferred, on a hybrid basis.

What You’ll Be Doing

· Design end-to-end infrastructure architectures for NVIDIA GPU clusters and AI factories.

· Integrate compute, network, storage, security, observability and facilities designs into coherent solutions.

· Translate customer and workload requirements into high-level designs, standards and technical decisions.

· Develop repeatable hardware reference configurations and procurement-ready Bills of Materials (BOMs).

· Assess server, GPU, networking and storage components for performance, cost, lifecycle and deployment risk.





· Align designs with relevant NVIDIA Cloud Partner requirements and reference architectures.

· Lead architecture reviews covering cluster topology, cabling, storage and facilities integration.

· Support greenfield and brownfield deployments, design assurance and risk resolution.

· Collaborate with OEMs, vendors and internal domain architects on emerging technologies and roadmaps.

What We’re Looking For

· 8+ years in infrastructure architecture, systems engineering, data centre infrastructure, cloud or HPC.

· Experience designing or operating large-scale compute infrastructure, including GPU or accelerated environments.

· Strong physical hardware architecture expertise, component selection and BOM development.

· Broad understanding of compute, networking, storage, platforms and data centre infrastructure.

· Experience producing HLDs, reference designs, diagrams and technical standards.

· Ability to balance performance, resilience, cost and operational requirements.

· Confidence engaging technical specialists, technology vendors and senior stakeholders.

Nice to have:

· NVIDIA Cloud Partner, neocloud, hyperscaler or AI/HPC provider experience.

· InfiniBand, NVIDIA Spectrum-X, RoCE or high-performance Ethernet knowledge.

· Experience with VAST Data, WEKA or similar storage platforms.
