A highly regarded national law firm is seeking a Lawyer or Associate with 3+ years' PAE to join its growing Insurance and Corporate Risk team.

You’ll work alongside experienced Partners and gain exposure to a broad range of insurance matters, acting for leading organisations across a variety of industries.

The role will focus primarily on defendant personal injury claims, particularly abuse claims, alongside exposure to:

- Public liability matters
- Workers' compensation appeals
- Property damage claims
- Policy interpretation and coverage disputes
- General insurance matters
- Contractual disputes
- Other commercial and insurance-related litigation

You’ll have the opportunity to develop strong client relationships with organisations across construction, resources, agribusiness, property, not-for-profit, technology and infrastructure, while also developing your broader commercial and business development skills.

About You

We are interested in hearing from lawyers who have:

- 3+ years' PAE in insurance or related litigation
- Experience in defendant personal injury claims
- Plaintiff personal injury experience will also be considered for candidates looking to transition into defendant work
- A genuine interest in developing a long-term career in insurance
