Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Technology Lead – Enterprise Integration to provide technical leadership and operational support for enterprise integration platforms. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Kong API Gateway, webMethods, Managed File Transfer, messaging middleware, API Management, and enterprise integration platforms.

The role will be responsible for ensuring the availability, reliability, security, and continuous improvement of integration platforms supporting critical business applications and B2B integrations.

Key Responsibilities

Provide technical leadership for enterprise integration solutions and ensure approved integration patterns and architectures are followed.

Manage enterprise integration platforms, including installation, configuration, patching, upgrades, monitoring, and production support.

Support middleware platforms operating in active-active and active-passive configurations.

Manage and support Kong API Gateway, webMethods, Managed File Transfer, messaging middleware, and API Management platforms.

Define, govern, and maintain API standards, frameworks, processes, and integration patterns.

Support the design, development, deployment, and operational management of RESTful APIs and SOAP web services.

Implement and optimise CI/CD pipelines using DevOps practices to support automated build, testing, and deployment.

Monitor platform performance and create dashboards/reports for operational metrics and business SLAs.

Perform configuration auditing, backup and recovery, platform tuning, and application/site migration activities.





Integrate solutions with relational databases including Microsoft SQL Server and PostgreSQL.

Work with networking and security protocols including HTTPS, SMTP, LDAP, OAuth, OIDC, JWT, and TLS/SSL.

Analyse technical issues, coordinate incident resolution, and restore services within agreed SLAs.

Identify opportunities to automate repetitive operational activities and improve platform reliability and efficiency.

Partner with Enterprise and Solution Architecture teams to establish and evolve integration standards and best practices.

Support project teams with new integration setting setup, onboarding, troubleshooting, and configuration.

Communicate complex technical concepts effectively to technical and business stakeholders.

Mandatory Skills & Experience

8–10+ years of experience in Enterprise Integration / Middleware technologies.

Minimum 7 years of experience in Business-to-Business (B2B) and Enterprise Application Integration.

Strong hands-on experience with Kong API Gateway.

Strong experience with webMethods and Managed File Transfer.

Experience with messaging middleware and enterprise integration platforms.

Experience managing production environments using active-active / active-passive configurations.

Strong knowledge of REST APIs and SOAP web services.

Experience with API Management / APIM platforms.

Strong understanding of DevOps and CI/CD.

Experience with Microsoft SQL Server and PostgreSQL.

Strong knowledge of HTTPS, SMTP, LDAP, OAuth, OIDC, JWT, and TLS/SSL.

Proven experience in production support, incident management, troubleshooting, and SLA-based service restoration.

Strong technical documentation, system analysis, and process design skills.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
