One of Australia’s leading Federal Government Departments is looking to engage an experienced Integration Platform Developer to be responsible for managing and maintaining specific ICT platforms, including technical landscape design, installation, configuration, deployment, technical security and operation of ICT components and databases. The successful Integration Platform Developer will secure an initial 12 month contract and with the view to be extended for 2 years and receive a rewarding hourly rate.

The successful Integration Platform Developer will be responsible for, but not limited to:

- Design, configure, test and implement complex integration solution associated with components such as Sterling, Data power/API Connect for the departments applications as well as Shared Service agencies.

- Work with the monitoring team in setting up alerts and messages to track and manage the system status and its performance.

- Prepare a range of technical documentations and reports for the project changes





- Review and advise on a range of infrastructure solutions including technical design documentation, implementation plans, test plans and support procedures.

The successful Integration Platform Developer will have the following:

- Extensive experience designing, implementing and supporting complex enterprise integration platforms.

- Strong hands-on technical expertise with IBM Sterling, IBM DataPower, IBM API Connect and IBM Security Verify Access (ISVA/ISAM) is highly desirable.

- Experience with IBM WebSphere and service-oriented architecture (SOA) integration environments.

- Strong technical knowledge of Java, JavaScript, JSON, Python, Unix and Bash scripting.
