We are looking to recruit a full time Intermediate Tax Accountant to join our long-established firm.

Job Responsibilities

- Preparation of Tax Returns, Financial Account for all entities (Individuals, Companies, Trusts, Partnerships and Sole Traders)

- BAS preparation and lodgement

- Preparation of Financials Statements

- Familiarity with Xero & MYOB, Quickbooks, bank reconciliation and support for our clients

- Liaising with clients and resolving a range of client queries and tax issues

- Liaising with the ATO to handle a range of issues.

- Be able to work with Xero & MYOB and handle bookkeeping jobs

- Ad-hoc duties as requested by management

About You

- At Least 2 years working experience in tax for individuals and small businesses in Australia

- Experience in Sage - Handisoft/Handitax/Handiledger (Desirable but not essential)

- Experienced in Xero & MYOB

- Good working accounting knowledge

- Ability to multi-task

- Positive command of the English language

- Ability to multi-task and prioritise matter of urgency

- Able to handle duties as listed above

Remuneration

- Annual salary of AUD $65,000 - AUD $75,000 (Plus super).
