Internal Auditor (0.8FTE)
- Permanent Part-time position - 0.6 - 0.8FTE (45.6 to 60.8 hours per fortnight)
- $105,044.16 Per Annum (Pro Rata) + Superannuation

We're looking for an experienced and independent qualified to lead internal audit and assurance activities that strengthen internal controls, support compliance and help safeguard the City's operations and assets. About The Role As the Internal Auditor, you'll coordinate and deliver independent audits and assessments across the organisation, while maintaining the City's audit and assurance framework.
Working closely with stakeholders across the organisation, you will evaluate internal controls, identify opportunities for improvement, support compliance obligations and provide assurance reporting to the Audit, Risk and Improvement Committee.
Your Responsibilities Will Include
- Leading and coordinating the City's audit and assurance program.
- Conducting independent audits and assessments and recommending improvements to internal controls and processes.
- Developing and maintaining audit methodologies, frameworks and associated documentation.
- Preparing reports and presenting audit findings to the Audit, Risk and Improvement Committee.
- Managing compliance-related reporting requirements and supporting governance activities across the organisation.
- Building effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders to support sound governance outcomes.
About You You're a highly organised and analytical professional who can work independently while building strong working relationships across the organisation.
- A Diploma or Advanced Diploma in Quality Auditing, or equivalent qualification, training or experience.
- Experience developing and implementing internal audit, assurance or business improvement programs.
- Strong analytical, reporting and data management skills.
- Experience providing advice and working collaboratively with a range of stakeholders.
- Excellent written communication skills and experience producing high-quality reports.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
- A current National Police Clearance.
