Salesian College Chadstone is seeking an enthusiastic and suitably qualified Italian Teacher to join our teaching team for Term 1, 2027.

This is a full-time, fixed-term position for Term 1, teaching Italian across Years 7–9.

We are looking for a teacher who is passionate about language learning and can create an engaging and supportive classroom environment that encourages students to develop their confidence and skills in Italian.

The successful applicant will demonstrate strong classroom practice, the ability to build positive relationships with students and colleagues, and a commitment to contributing to the broader life and values of Salesian College.

About You The successful applicant will:

- Be suitably qualified to teach Italian across Years 7–9.

- Hold current Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) registration.

- Demonstrate effective and engaging classroom practice.

- Build positive relationships with students, colleagues and families.

- Work collaboratively as part of the Languages Learning Area.

- Support the Catholic and Salesian ethos of the College.

- Demonstrate a strong commitment to child safety and student wellbeing.
