About the Role
Working closely with our Project Managers and Contracts Administrators, the Junior Contracts Administrator will provide essential support across project administration, documentation, cost tracking, and subcontractor coordination.
This role will suit a proactive individual who is eager to learn, develop their skills, and take the next step in their construction career.
Key responsibilities include
- Assisting with subcontractor and supplier administration
- Supporting the preparation and management of contract documentation
- Maintaining project records, registers, and document control systems
- Assisting with progress claims, invoices, and payment processes
- Supporting variation management and project reporting
- Tracking project costs and assisting with forecasting activities
- Preparing correspondence and project documentation
- Assisting with procurement and subcontractor communications
- Coordinating administrative tasks to support successful project delivery
- Ensuring compliance with company safety, quality, and environmental requirements
About You
We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic, reliable, and keen to develop a career in construction administration.
Ideally, you will have:
- A genuine interest in construction, contracts administration, or project management
- Relevant qualifications or studies in Construction Management, Building, Project Management, Business Administration, or a related field (desirable)
- Previous experience in administration or a construction-related environment (advantageous)
- Strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn
- Good organisational and time management skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- The ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
- Good computer skills and confidence using Microsoft Office Suite
- A current driver’s licence
