Love football and enjoy working with kids?

MT Football is looking for enthusiastic and reliable Football Coaches to join our growing team across Sydney.

We deliver football programs for children across schools, daycares and our academy programs , with sessions designed to build skills, confidence and – most importantly – make football enjoyable.

This is a great opportunity for university students, aspiring teachers, sports coaches or anyone with a strong football background looking for flexible work around study or other commitments.

You’ll be responsible for delivering fun, structured and engaging football sessions for children of different ages and abilities.

Depending on your availability, coaching opportunities may include:

- School football programs

- Daycare and preschool programs
- MT Football academy sessions
- School holiday programs
- Other football clinics and events

Locations & Travel

We have programs across Sydney,

with a large portion of our current work running from the Sutherland Shire through to the Inner West.

Coaches need to be comfortable with reasonable travel between locations. Wherever possible, we will schedule your work within the same area on a given day to minimise unnecessary travel.

Having a current driver's licence and reliable vehicle is essential for the role.

We’re looking for people who are:

- Confident and energetic when working with children
- Passionate about football and sport
- Reliable, punctual and professional
- Comfortable leading groups and communicating with parents, teachers and children
- Able to create a positive and encouraging environment
- Available for some weekday and/or afternoon sessions

Previous coaching experience is great, but it isn't essential . If you have a strong football background, the right attitude and are great with kids, we can provide training and support.

Requirements

You will need, or be willing to obtain:

- NSW Working With Children Check
- Current driver's licence and reliable transport
- Relevant coaching qualifications are highly regarded but not essential

Why Join MT Football?

This isn't a role where you will simply be handed a ball and sent onto a field.

We want coaches who genuinely enjoy working with kids and want to develop their coaching skills. You will be supported with session structures, equipment and guidance while having the chance to take on more coaching as you develop.

We can offer flexible casual hours , making the role particularly suited to university students or people looking to build experience in sport, coaching or education.
