About the role In this full-time role based in St.

Peters

Sydney NSW, you will play a key part in our team by preparing accurate and comprehensive cost estimates across a diverse range of projects. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional looking to contribute to an established business and take ownership of our tendering process from project inception.

Key responsibilities

- Prepare detailed cost estimates including materials, labour, and equipment requirements.

- Analyze project specifications, drawings, and documentation to identify all cost components.

- Review and analyze supplier quotations.

- Collaborate closely with the Estimating and Business Development Managers on tender strategies.

- Contribute to project methodology, risk reviews, and value engineering.

- Follow up on submitted tenders and build ongoing relationships with clients and suppliers.

- Provide support to the project delivery team throughout the construction lifecycle.

- Monitor industry standards, regulations, and shifts in material and labour costs.





- Provide administrative support to the estimating and contract management teams as required.

About you

- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Construction, Quantity Surveying, Engineering, or a related field (local or international qualifications).

- Background in engineering or building highly desirable; other relevant backgrounds considered.

- 1–2 years of estimating experience within interior fit-out, refurbishment, or new builds.

- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret technical specifications and drawings.

- Proficiency in industry estimating software, Microsoft Excel, and standard office applications.

- Commercially minded with excellent attention to detail, time management, and multi-tasking skills.

- Solid communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with internal teams, clients, and subcontractors.
