About the role

Northern Caterers Electrical is looking for a motivated junior to join our Launceston team in a varied role combining parts, administration, deliveries and hands-on support. You'll be helping keep our technicians moving by making sure they have the right parts, at the right job, at the right time.

Key responsibilities

- Ordering and receiving electrical parts and materials
- Allocating parts and costs to jobs
- Keeping the parts and storage area organised
- Following up outstanding orders with suppliers
- Picking up parts from suppliers
- Delivering parts and equipment to our electricians on job sites
- Entering and updating information in our business management system
- Assisting with purchase orders and general administration
- Helping coordinate jobs and materials
- Occasionally getting out on site and giving our tradespeople a second pair of hands when required

About you





- Current driver's licence required
- Basic computer skills
- Comfortable getting out of the office and helping whenever needed
- Very comfortable on the phone
- Reliable, switched on, organised and keen to learn
- No electrical industry experience required
- No previous office experience required
