About the role

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Junior Sales Estimator to join our team in Auburn. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in the building and construction industry who is looking to develop their career in estimating, sales support, and project coordination. Working within a fast-paced environment, you will play a key role in providing accurate quotations, supporting the sales team, liaising with customers, coordinating with our warehouse and operations teams, and delivering exceptional customer service.

Key responsibilities

- Prepare accurate estimates, quotations, and take-offs from plans and specifications.

- Assist the sales team with customer enquiries and project follow-up.

- Answer incoming calls and provide professional customer support.

- Coordinate orders and project requirements with the warehouse and operations teams.

- Maintain customer and project records within Salesforce CRM.

- Assist with sales administration and project tracking.

- Liaise with builders, contractors, architects, installers, and other stakeholders.

- Review drawings and technical documentation to identify project requirements.

- Ensure all quotations and documentation are completed accurately and on time.





- Build strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.

About you

- Relevant tertiary qualification in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Building and Construction, or a related discipline.

- 1-3 years of experience in an estimating, sales support, contract administration, or similar construction-related role.

- Experience working within the building and construction industry.

- Robust analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.

- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.

- Strong organisational and time management skills.

- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

- Strong customer service and relationship-building abilities.
