Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Kitchen Designer role based in Sydney, NSW.

The Kitchen

Designer will meet with customers in the showroom or in-home to understand their needs, lifestyle, and design preferences, translating these into functional and aesthetically appealing kitchen solutions. Daily responsibilities include preparing design concepts and layouts using design software, selecting cabinetry, finishes, and hardware, and presenting proposals and quotations to customers. The role also involves coordinating with sales teams, installation partners, and suppliers to ensure designs are practical, compliant, and delivered as specified.

Designer will provide ongoing customer support throughout the renovation process, ensuring a seamless and positive experience from initial consultation to project completion.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Kitchen & Bath Design skills, with an understanding of layout, ergonomics, and practical renovation requirements.
- Candidates should possess excellent Customer Service skills, with a focus on building rapport and delivering a positive client experience.
- Candidates should possess clear Communication skills, including the ability to explain design options and technical details in accessible terms.
- Candidates should possess Sales skills, including consultative selling and the ability to convert design consultations into confirmed projects.
- Candidates should possess knowledge of Cabinetry, including materials, construction methods, and product options.
- Relevant experience in kitchen design, interior design, or renovations, preferably in a showroom or customer-facing environment.
- Proficiency with design and planning software (e.g., CAD or kitchen design tools) and basic computer skills.
- Strong attention to detail, space planning ability, and an understanding of practical installation considerations.
- Certificate, diploma, or degree in Interior Design, Kitchen & Bath Design, or a related field is highly regarded.
- Ability to work on-site, including weekends or extended hours as required to meet customer demand.
