About Jamworks

Located at Glen Aplin, just outside Stanthorpe, Jamworks is much more than a café. Since beginning in 2001, Jamworks has grown into a well-known Granite Belt destination incorporating our café, retail larder and artisan food production and wholesale operations.

Our café serves breakfast, lunch and all-day meals showcasing the jams, relishes, chutneys, sauces, pickles and pastes made right here at Jamworks. We pride ourselves on fresh, seasonal food, quality local ingredients and creating a relaxed and memorable experience for our customers.

The Role

No two days at Jamworks are the same. Depending on your experience and where you want to develop,



your role may include:

- Food preparation and cooking
- Supporting our chefs during café service
- Preparing breakfast, lunch and café menu items
- Assisting with new dishes and menu preparation
- Kitchen organisation, cleaning and dishes
- Stock preparation and management
- Café and service preparation
- Supporting the smooth day-to-day operation of the kitchen
- For more experienced team members, providing on-the-job guidance and support to junior kitchen team members

For an apprentice, you’ll have the opportunity to continue developing your skills in a supportive environment with experienced people around you. For the right kitchen hand, there is also potential to develop your skills and explore an apprenticeship pathway if that’s where you’d like to take your career.

For an experienced Cook or later-stage Apprentice, there is the opportunity to take on greater responsibility within the kitchen and help support the development of less experienced team members.

About You

Commercial kitchen or café experience would be fantastic, but attitude and work ethic come first for us. We’d love to hear from you if you:
