Delaware North Australia is hiring a part-time Kitchenhand to join our team at Melbourne Airport. As a Kitchenhand, you will be responsible for ensuring cleanliness, order, and efficiency in the kitchen. Apply today and join a team where you will contribute to a first-class dining experience.

Must be available to work Friday & Sunday 4:30am - 12:30pm.

What you will do?
- Maintain consistent cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen area
- Conduct temperature and quality checks, effectively managing cross-contamination to ensure WHS compliance, displaying a strong commitment to meeting Food Safety standards
- Support kitchen team members in establishing and sustaining an organised and efficient workspace
- Take on hands-on cleaning duties, including sweeping and mopping floors, washing dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment, waste disposal and management, operating a commercial dishwasher, and handling cleaning chemicals




- Execute food preparation tasks within a commercial kitchen environment, showcasing excellent food presentation skills

More about you

- Previous experience as a Kitchen Hand or sandwhich hand
- Food Safety Certificate
- Demonstrated passion and enthusiasm for working in a rapid-paced environment
- Must be available to work Friday & Sunday 4:30am - 12:30pm.
