Our Client

We are proud to be partnering with an established and growing information services business, established for over fifteen years, who specialise in providing third-party information processing and verification services to business customers, primarily across the United States.

The business works with organisations across a diverse range of industries, including Technology, Publishing, Financial Services and Entertainment. Its services play an important role in helping clients verify individuals and businesses as part of their customer onboarding, risk management and compliance processes.

Working with large volumes of global identification and business documentation, the team helps clients make informed decisions about who they are dealing with and whether customers and businesses meet their required verification standards.

With continued growth across its international client base, the business is looking to add a KYC / KYB Compliance & Due Diligence Specialist to the team on a contract basis.

The role

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong eye for detail, excellent analytical skills and a genuine interest in compliance, verification and investigative work.

As a KYC / KYB Compliance & Due Diligence Specialist, you will be responsible for reviewing and assessing identification and business documentation to determine whether individuals and legal entities meet the requirements to be onboarded to client platforms.

The role combines document analysis, investigation, research and client communication. You will work with documentation from different countries and jurisdictions, requiring a methodical approach and the ability to identify inconsistencies, anomalies and potential issues.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

- Investigating, interpreting and analysing documentation required to verify individuals and legal entities.
- Reviewing a broad range of global identification documents, including:
- International passports
- Driver licences
- Government-issued identification
- Resident cards
- Proof of address documentation
- Business registration and corporate documentation
- Assessing documents for authenticity, accuracy and completeness, including reviewing security features, data elements, fonts, layouts, issue and expiry dates and other document characteristics.
- Identifying discrepancies, inconsistencies or unusual information and determining when further investigation or documentation is required.
- Using internal knowledge bases,

research resources and third-party verification tools to support verification and due diligence assessments.
- Managing allocated workflows and queues efficiently while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
- Working within agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and prioritising work according to business requirements.
- Maintaining clear and accurate audit trails, notes and records within internal systems.
- Communicating with clients through ticketing systems to request additional documentation, provide clear instructions and resolve verification issues.
- Reviewing information provided by clients and determining the appropriate next steps to progress a verification case.
- Working collaboratively with the wider team to ensure a consistent, accurate and high-quality approach to KYC/KYB reviews.
- Contributing to process improvements and sharing knowledge to support consistency and quality across the team.

About you The business is looking for someone who is naturally curious, highly detail-oriented and comfortable working with sensitive information and documentation. As this is a contract opportunity with an urgent requirement, you will ideally be ready to commence in a recent role. You will be someone who enjoys investigative work and doesn't simply accept information at face value. You will have the ability to carefully assess information, identify inconsistencies and use available resources to reach a well-reasoned conclusion.

You will ideally have:

- A Bachelor's degree in Business or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant experience.
- Previous experience in banking, accounting, compliance, KYC/KYB, customer verification, administration, operations or another highly regulated or detail-focused environment.
- Strong analytical and investigative skills, with the ability to identify discrepancies and assess information objectively.
- Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach to reviewing documentation.
- The ability to work efficiently in a high-volume, queue-based environment without compromising accuracy.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- The confidence to communicate professionally with clients and users through a ticketing system.

- The ability to follow established procedures while also using sound judgement when dealing with unusual or complex cases.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
- A collaborative, team-oriented approach and the ability to work independently when required.
- A high level of integrity and discretion when handling confidential and sensitive information.

Technical skills You will be comfortable working across either Mac OS or Windows and confident learning and using proprietary databases, verification platforms and internal systems.

Experience with the following will be highly regarded:

- Zendesk
- Dropbox
- Microsoft Office
- Digital document management and review tools
- File management, previewing and printing
- Reviewing audit trails and digital content
- Online research and information verification tools

Solid computer literacy and the ability to quickly learn new systems are important, as the role involves working across multiple platforms and sources of information throughout the day. Additional language skills will be highly desirable, particularly Chinese, Russian, Korean or Japanese, given the international nature of the documentation and client base.

This is an excellent opportunity to join an established international business in a role where accuracy, investigation and attention to detail genuinely matter.

You'll be part of a supportive and collaborative team, working with global documentation, international clients and a variety of verification scenarios. The role provides an opportunity to develop valuable experience across KYC, KYB,

compliance, customer verification and due diligence, while building knowledge that can translate into broader opportunities across compliance and financial services.
